Be part of our team supporting up to 6 tangata whai ora in a crisis respite setting. Our crisis respite service offers support and is staffed 24/7. Working in respite some of your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:Medication supportSupporting people regain their mental health and independence.Housekeeping to a high standardComprehensive note taking and handoversCooking healthy inviting mealsAdvocating for the people we support1. Sunday – Thursday, 11.00pm – 7.30am (Awake Shift)2. Tuesday to Saturday, 3.00pm - 11.30pm3. Friday to Saturday, 3.00pm - 11.30pm4. Tuesday to Thursday, 11.00pm - 7.30amPlease indicate on your cover letter a preference of shift.The Team:You will be reporting to the Team Coach and joining our Pathways Wellington Respite Service teams - all with a common purpose to support people experiencing mental illness.You | MouWe are interested to hear from people who have a caring nature and work in a recovery-focused way.You must hold a current full driver's licenceHold a current first aid certificate or be willing to obtain one.Do you hold the New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (NZCHW) or a recognised equivalent, or are currently studying towards this qualification or a recognised equivalent?
