We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part-time Support Worker to join our team at tlc4u2 Ltd. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing personalised care and assistance to our clients, helping them to maintain their independence and quality of life.What you'll be doingAssisting clients with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeepingProviding companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging them in meaningful activities and social interactionMonitoring clients' wellbeing and reporting any changes or concerns to the appropriate team membersMaintaining accurate records and documentation related to client careAdhering to all company policies, procedures, and safety protocolsWhat we're looking forRelevant experience in the aged care or disability support industry, or a strong desire to work in this fieldExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with clients and their familiesCompassion, empathy, and a genuine commitment to improving the lives of othersFlexibility and the ability to adapt to the changing needs of our clientsA current driver's licence and reliable transportationCertificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification (desirable)What we offerCompetitive hourly rate and opportunities for career developmentOngoing training and support to enhance your skills and knowledgeA collaborative and supportive team environmentThe chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clientsAbout ustlc4u2 Ltd is a trusted provider of aged and disability support services in the Waikato region.
