About the Role (Your Why)Are you a developer with a passion for data and a knack for troubleshooting? We're looking for a Support Developer to join our team! In this role, you'll be responsible for developing, deploying, and maintaining critical data warehousing and ETL artifacts that drive our organization's data capabilities. You'll play a key part in providing operational support in a dynamic BAU (business-as-usual) environment, ensuring our data processes run smoothly and efficiently.This role offers you the opportunity to work with cutting-edge data technologies and make a real impact in a supportive, collaborative setting. It's a great fit if you enjoy variety and thrive where you can take ownership and resolve real-time issues as they arise.Please note, this role will involve non-standard hours.What you'll bring Technical Skills: Excellent SQL skills, knowledge of financial environments and Financial ERP systems, Data Warehousing, Azure Data Factory (ADF), Microsoft Fabric and ETL Ability to manage issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends. Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements. Ability to frequently interact with a variety of stakeholders and team members. Demonstrated experience designing, implementing and managing complex reporting environments in a corporate context Extensive knowledge of data warehousing and dimensional modelling concepts Responsibilities Designing, developing, testing and supporting of standard DW/ETL artefacts (including SQL Scripts, ADF Pipelines, Microsoft Fabric functions/features, monitoring and support tools) Providing quantifiable solutions to complex problems. Understanding and working with an array of data, including historical data stored in data warehouses as well as new data gathered from sources as soon as it is generated Performing SQL queries and designing coding testing and aggregating the results to create useful information Maintaining and supporting the enterprise data/reporting platform so that it can provide reliable, timely, performant and accurate information to business users Providing assistance and support to all Datacom users with respect to the data/reporting platform, including internal users who are using and manipulating data Increasing business confidence in the accuracy, veracity, reliability and value of data to help guide business decision making and exploit commercial opportunities Culture and BenefitsDatacom is one of Australia and New Zealand's largest suppliers of Information Technology professional services.
