Role Overview: As a Supply Chain Team Member, you will be responsible for managing the daily inwards and outwards goods operations.
You will ensure best practice logistics, identify and manage improved processes, and disperse best practice activities throughout the broader business.
Your role will also include general housekeeping, cycle counting, dangerous goods handling, and query resolution.
This is a dynamic position that requires a proactive approach, a can-do attitude, and a willingness to assist in projects when required.
Key Responsibilities include: Goods Operations: Oversee inwards goods receiving and receipting, picking, packing, and despatching of goods.
Inventory Control: Perform duties related to the control of inventory, including using the SAP computer system.
Process Improvement: Identify and manage improved processes and best practice activities throughout the business.
DIFOT Standards: Work with your team to achieve a high standard of DIFOT (Delivered In Full On Time).
Mail Handling: Receive and sort mail and small parcels, hand over to reception for internal distribution, and assist with large mail outs and other mail room duties.
Storage Management: Store goods in an approved manner and handle associated routine paperwork to ensure inventory control systems are kept up-to-date.
Bulk Delivery: Deliver bulk orders throughout the site via forklift as required.
About You: We're looking for a self-motivated individual, with a positive attitude.
You'll be a great team player who works well with others.
You'll also demonstrate: Computer literate, with experience in SAP being an advantage.
A proactive approach to challenges and problem-solving.
A full, clean driver's license is required.
A Fork Lift License with OSH courses in safe forklift operation is an advantage.
An understanding of inventory and stock-taking is an advantage.
