We are looking for a Supply Chain Manager to lead and develop the logistics team at Cloudy Bay Vineyards. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to share your knowledge and passion for effective planning and communication with all markets & BDE's, dry goods purchasing & receiving, stock control and dispatch of still and sparkling wines, while ensuring a focus on delivering and maintaining high quality and customer satisfaction. Your day-to-day will include Leading and developing the logistics team by managing the capacity, distribution and bottling plans and optimizing delivery performance Managing staff, which includes developing & implementing training plans and managing the Annual Performance review, to ensure shipping targets are met Leading environmental & sustainability improvement initiatives and ensuring the teams engagement in developing a culture of sustainability Managing dry goods procurement to budget and ensuring departments operational costs are in line with expenditure budget Proactively lead & Manage Health & Safety Requirements Ideally, you will need Tertiary qualification or Bachelor's degree in Management is desirable Significant experience (at least five years) working in an operations role, preferably in a winery is required Strong ability to pragmatically organize priorities and make critical decisions A very energetic people leadership, with the ability to lead by People-oriented mindset and team player skills Ability to deal with conflicts, stress and challenging situations successfully Excellent spoken English compulsory; good written English required.
