We have an exciting opportunity for a Sealing Supervisor to join our team in New Plymouth and deliver the good work Fulton Hogan is known for.The roleYou'll be responsible for wide range of responsibilities including.Assist to identify and capitalise on additional work opportunities.Carry out / participate in daily pre-start meetings, hazard id's (health and safety / environmental), tailgate meetings, etc.Develop and maintain programmes to maximise the utilisation of the labour, materials and plant resources.Leading and management of a Sealing Crew/ staff.Maintain HSEQ objectives of the Sealing Department.Provide advice and assistance to clients on matters relating to sealingProvide department administrator and/or manager with accurate QA documentation information, which is legible, checked, signed off in an agreed timely manner.Provide operational back up / support as required.Reject any non-conforming equipment, materials or plant.Operate Sealing vehicles (or any other FH Vehicle) in accordance with Fulton Hogan Policy at all times, e.g. ensuring all plant and equipment is locked and secure and keys are stored appropriately when not in use; ensuring machinery checks (e.g. tyres, oil and grease, plant pre start) completed and necessary maintenance completed before machinery is operated; ensuring plant is used safely and effectively; the exterior & interior maintained in good & clean condition.Experience and attributes;Competent in operating plant with the relevant licences and appropriate endorsements as required for department, e.g. Class 2 (min) (light/heavy vehicles), dangerous goods and preferably RTW (rollers, track, wheels) endorsementsNZC in Bituminous Surfacing Construction with strand in ChipsealUnderstands how to clean up spills of all products being worked withAt Fulton Hogan, you will have access to a range of great benefits such as:Medical insurance for you and your whanau (covers pre-existing conditions)Life insurance from day one of employmentIncreased KiwiSaver employer contributions after service milestonesProfessional development and career progression opportunitiesAccess to family scholarship programmes to support their tertiary studyExcellent discounts at a wide range of retailersAccess to free confidential counselling and support services for you and your familyIf this sounds like and you would like to help build you capability and our Good Work culture, then we would like to hear from you.
