For more information on Queenstown Lakes District Council visit: The Role Based in Queenstown or Wanakaand reporting into the General Manager Property & Infrastructure, you will be responsible for the strategic and long-term planning for QLDC's Property and Infrastructure asset portfolio, including Transport, Three Waters, Solid Waste and Property.
You will lead resource planning and management, stakeholder liaison and delivering long term strategy planning.
In the development of the masterplan, you will also maintain the improvement programme of work and manage the delivery of the option and concept design phases for infrastructure, as well as demand management and planning programmes.
Your Skills and Experience To be successful in the role, you will demonstrate strong leadership capabilities within a technical sector, with relevant proven knowledge and depth of understanding in infrastructure planning, contracts and management.
The ability to develop and maintain relationships will enable you to effectively collaborate with a wide range of internal teams, consultants and external stakeholders, due to you well-developed communication skills.
In addition, you will be highly motivated, achievement orientated and an innovative professional.
