In this role you'll lead the Council's Annual Reporting process and play an essential role in developing Council's Long Term Plan and Annual Plan. You'll also be involved in developing Community Plans, monitoring the Strategies, Policies and Bylaws work programme, and maintaining oversight of Council's submissions to other organizations. We are looking for someone to help shape the future of our district at an exciting time where there are a number of transformational projects underway or planned. You'll hold a relevant tertiary qualification and have a sound understanding of local government, along with strong project co-ordination skills. You'll have strong conceptual and analytical skills. You'll be organized, and have a genuine desire to engage in long term, complex project work. You'll be confident to present in formal and informal settings, and you're someone who is proactive and gets things done. You're not afraid of a good challenge and thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
