Reporting to our Stores & Logistics Manager, you will be a vital part of our store's operation, providing leadership and guidance to our stores team to achieve daily operations. This is a hands-on role primarily based in our chilled and frozen environment, not for faint hearted!You will be responsible for:Providing day to day leadership to our stores team, ensuring we are: Continuously striving to improve efficiency.Operating in accordance with all H&S policies and procedures.Operating in a quality focused environment, exceeding customer service standards.Consistently following standard operating practices.You will also be responsible for: Completing picking and packing activity, ensuring customers' orders are completed accurately and on time.Identifying training requirements for stores staff, ensuring job competency and continued learning.Accurate and timely completion of documentation.Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Ensure the efficient management of stock and inventory systems to maintain optimum levels of stock for production and distribution needs.You will be reporting to and supported by the Stores & Logistics Manager.Key requirements for this role4-6 years in a supervisory role, within a stores & logistics environment.5+ years' experience within a pick packing environment.OSH certified and F Endorsement is preferred – however we can support the right candidate to get this endorsement.Great attitude to Food Safety and Health and Safety, willingness to role model all related instructions, procedures and policies.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Ability to work in a physically demanding role.Excellent numeracy and literacy skills.Intermediate computer skills, including email and excel spreadsheets.Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.Be hard working, reliable, show initiative, with a can-do attitude.About Original Foods Baking CompanyOriginal Foods Baking Co. are one of New Zealand's favourite wholesale bakery's.
