Store Supervisor

We have an opportunity for the position of Store Supervisor in our Grocery Store based in Rotorua. We are looking for a confident, responsible person with high attention to detail who is keen to work with us in a busy Indian Grocery Shop. This role requires flexibility with working hours, including weekends, late evening shifts, and public holidays. This is a full-time vacancy with a minimum of 30 to 40 hours from Monday to Sunday, from 9 AM to 9 PM, depending on business requirements and as per roster.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide outstanding customer service and build trust and loyalty.
Ensure the displays/shelves are appropriately stocked.
Independently handle the store in the absence of the store owner.
Respond to customers' inquiries and complaints about goods and services.
Examine returned goods and decide on appropriate action.
Work with a passionate team to reach sales targets.
Process payments and keep up to date with daily admin tasks, including general cleanliness and presentation of the store.
Ensure that goods and services are correctly priced and displayed.
Maintain high store performance.


Job Requirements:

At least 1 year of relevant work experience or a level 2 qualification in supervisory or higher.
A proactive approach, motivation to achieve and improve continuously.
Clean criminal record and zero tolerance to drugs in the workplace.
Be physically fit and healthy.
