The position is for a person capable of running a Retail Storeindependently and maintaining the retail services within the store.You must be experienced, enthusiastic and capable candidate for theStore Managers position to autonomously manage the day-to-dayoperations of our busy store. It is a Full-time role working minimum 40hours per week.Job Location: KaitaiaSome of the core responsibilities are:To look for opportunities to improve procedures, and makeimprovements to purchasing and marketing policies.Purchasing, ordering and monitoring incoming goodsPromoting and advertising the store's goods and servicesMaintain security controls cash, keys, alarms and stock andfinancial responsibilitiesManaging stock levels and making key decisions about stock controland pricing, including implementing stock control systems, stocktracking, purchasing.Serving customers, advice and recommend products and add onproductsFollow up on customer complaints/comments quicklyStaff Management Recruiting, selecting, orienting, training andmotivating employees as well as, conducting appraisals andperformance reviews and providing or organizing training anddevelopmentEnsuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulationsCustomer facing and service ExperienceAble to work long and flexible hoursThe successful applicant would ideally have New Zealand experience with excellent customer service skills, management experience, multi-tasking and leadership experience, You must also be energetic and positiveperson.
