Today we have 12 stores in New Zealand and 2 in Sydney. As we continue to grow and establish ourselves as one of the leading menswear brands in New Zealand and Australia, we are looking for our next inspiring leader to manage our Palmerston North store.
What you can expect
Play a part in the continued growth of Rembrandt throughout New Zealand and become a champion for the company by running our Palmerston North store.
This position oversees all day-to-day operations including staffing, merchandising, customer relationships, and the store's overall financial success. Your professionalism and energy will be welcomed as we strive to be Australasia's best menswear brand. You will be regarded as an expert in your craft, with customers consulting you for advice.
You will have the autonomy to manage the store supported by industry professionals located at the Wellington headquarters. A generous profit share scheme means the store manager benefits directly from the success of the store.
Manage and develop the team including their training and mentoring
Inspire your team to grow store sales through exceptional service and networking
Manage all facets of the store operations including stock accuracy and product display
Four- or Five-day working week includes a Saturday
Report store performance to the National Retail Manager
Your profile
Previous experience in a similar management role within a retail or hospitality environment.
A proven ability to produce strong sales results
Excellent communication skills at all levels, both written and verbal
Experience in networking and building relationships
Demonstrate strong commercial acumen
Strong attention to detail that is reflected in the way you present yourself
Excellent leadership and people management skills to lead, motivate, train, and develop the team
