The Team TheDepartment of Anaesthesia is a large department which provides acute andplanned anaesthesia services in Christchurch across two main campuses, ChristchurchPublic and Burwood Hospital. Surgical services are provided for all themain surgical specialities including Cardiothoracic, Vascular, Neurosurgery,Trauma, Paediatric/Neonatal surgery and Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Tertiary services provided for patients from outside Canterbury includeAcute Spine, Oncological surgery and endovascular clot retrieval. Thedepartment is accredited for training by ANZCA and has a large number oftrainees. The Role Weare seeking to fill general Specialist Anaesthetist positions based atChristchurch Hospital. We currently are seeking both full-time permanent andfixed term positions (6 to 10 months with negotiable part- or full-timeoptions).
