The Opportunity:

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Spares Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This permanent role is well suited to an individual who is looking to start their career or advance their career in engineering and gain hands on experience. The central focus of the role is on the processing, management and maintenance of spare parts and inventory.

You will be responsible for:

Day to day management and processing of spares orders
Quality assurance of any manufactured parts received as appropriate or delegation to tooling staff for checking
Gathering engineering information and review details to make suitable for manufacturing
Liaise with service technicians for scheduling and tracking of job orders
Scheduling urgent and planned spares
Management of service parts – restocking of unused parts, logging parts in and out of the ERP system
Understand and achieve the required critical to quality CTQ tolerances
Raise and track job orders for internally manufactured items
Assist with proposals and contracts for spare parts
Ensure quality standards and systems are followed and accurately recorded

To be a good match for this role you will have:

Engineering qualification (NZCE, B.Eng)
At least 2-3 years’ experience in an appropriate role
Good understanding of computing in a windows environment, and all Microsoft office applications and ability to learn and master our inventory management software.
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
Understanding of plant operations and maintenance, production objectives and mechanical functioning of equipment
A "can do" attitude, great communication skills and willingness to grow
