Position Overview:
The agency is seeking an experienced Microsoft Stack Solution Architect to join on a contract until 30 June 2025.

Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with the project team to define and document architectural requirements.
Develop and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation, ensuring alignment with the agency's digital strategy.
Provide strategic guidance and technical expertise to support the successful implementation of the portal.
Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and efficient system architecture.
Conduct architecture reviews to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Play a key role in defining architectural principles for the agency.

Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience as a Solution Architect, with a strong understanding of enterprise architecture and design.
Familiarity with New Zealand Government cloud hosting, privacy, and security best practices, including NZISM and NIST standards.
Knowledge of architectural frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) and experience applying them in complex projects.
Familiarity with modern Microsoft technology stacks, including Azure, APIs, and microservices architecture.
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Business Central.
Experience in agile development environments and understanding of DevOps practices.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Relevant certifications in enterprise architecture are a plus.
