KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Participate in 12-hourshifts on a rotating 4-on 4-off shift roster (days and nights). Provide technicalexpertise for continuous improvement processes. Provide breakdownresponse to mills (prioritising as directed). Carrying out shutwork on shut days. Follow up workfrom previous shift, if required. Breakdowns, follow ups, etc. Carry shift phoneand radio. Occasional shiftcover to cover absenteeism. Ensure qualityassurance of external vendors. Opencommunication with the team by wearing radio to provide backup if needed. Follow health andsafety requirements across site. THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL: Preferably havecontrol systems experience with control logics PLCs and fault finding onManufacturing plants, automated safety systems. Have the abilityto deliver results on time to meet customer expectations. Have a health andsafety, environmental and quality focus. Ability withreading and interpreting drawings. Expert level ofequipment problem solving skills. Analyticaltrouble shooting ability. The ability towork within time restraints.
