We're locally owned and operated and we pride ourselves on providing our customers with great service.We're currently looking for a Shed Estimator / Administrator with a "we'll see you right" attitude to join our team in Stratford.In this role, you'll provide essential support to the Managing Director while taking on a variety of tasks and projects. You'll be responsible for ensuring that all estimates and costings for pole-type farm buildings issued by Stratford ITM are accurate, high-quality, and provide the best value to our customers.Duties will include:Carry out on-site inspections, measure and quote for farm buildingsAssess damage to farm buildings and report to the insurance companiesCreate and maintain spreadsheets, material lists, and detailed quotations for farm building projectsLiaise with farm building contractors and sub-contractorsPrepare and submit building consents and code compliance documentsCoordinate with the Timber Purchaser, Yard Foreman, Truck Drivers, Yard Pre-Cutters, and Building Contractors to ensure smooth project flowFoster positive communication and relationships with both staff and customers to ensure seamless job executionManage all documentation for resource or building consent applications as neededOur successful applicant will have:Excellent communication skills, both written and verbalExperience in the Timber industry would be an advantage however is not essentialStrong organisational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detailA positive, can-do attitude, and a sense of humourA tidy, professional appearanceThe ability to follow instructions, work in a team and unsupervisedA full drivers licenceA stable work history and an honest and reliable work ethicThis is a Full Time position working Monday - Friday 7:30am - 5pm.Remuneration will be aligned with the skills and experience you bring to the role including medical insurance.If you're looking to build a career in our industry and be a part of a fun, close-knit team with an awesome company culture we'd love to hear from you!Ready to join us?
