Duties & Responsibilities
Answer telephone inquiries and assist clients as required.
Carry out commissioning and set up of new machines in line with the company best practice standards.
Install and test products, equipment, and machinery, providing instructions to customers on proper usage.
Perform preventative maintenance as directed and in line with company requirements and standards.
Attend callout breakdowns as required.
Use diagnostic tools to identify issues and evaluate available information.
Fix defective or broken products or request necessary parts to replace faulty or worn-out parts.
Complete all paperwork at the conclusion of each job while still on-site.
Maintain a professional and helpful disposition when working with all stakeholders.
Ensure the customer understands our approach to each job and provide a debrief on completion.
Maintain a high level of customer service to ensure an exceptional service experience.
Travel extensively due to the geographical spread of our customers.
Promote the company's services in everything we do.
Ensure the company brand and values are well represented at all times.
Attend all training organized by the company.
Act in a safe manner to enhance the health & safety culture.
Complete other duties as directed from time to time.

Skills, Experience and Education
Good understanding of mechanics and electrics with a problem-solving mindset.
5+ years' experience in a service technician or similar service-related role.
Relevant tertiary qualification or industry experience (Diploma in Electrical Engineering from NZDE Approved).
Technical qualification in Electrical Trade and must have an electrical licence in NZ.
Mechanical skillset.
Minimum two years of experience in the food & beverage industry is advantageous.
Willingness to travel extensively in New Zealand, Australia, and overseas.
Prior experience in working in multinational teams is preferred.
Proficiency in English.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Strong planning and time management skills.
Ability to work autonomously and be a motivated initiative-taker.
