Service Administrator / Coordinator

Administrative Assistants (Administration & Office Support) We are now seeking a full-time Service Administrator / Coordinator who will report to the Owner and be a key member of our busy service centre team. The core function involves the effective administration of all service jobs from the time of booking in through to invoicing. Knowledge of water pumps is not required. The Role involves: • Booking in and coordinating daily customer service & repair jobs. • Liaising with technical staff to ensure customer needs are met • Assisting with the implementation and monitoring of Health & Safety policies within workshop operations. • Assuming personal "ownership" of all service customers, being responsible for contact with the customer. • Providing the excellent customer care required to gain new customers and retain existing customers. • The timely and accurate operation of all Service administrative systems and procedures including: invoicing, adhering to established systems, service delivery and customer follow-up. • Handling all customer (internal/external: face to face/or remotely) in a courteous, and efficient manner. • Representing the business in a professional manner at all times. • Ensuring that all customers have their expectations exceeded and understanding that customer satisfaction is paramount. • Providing additional support in taking calls and tend to enquiries when necessary. Ideally you will be able to tick the following boxes: - Previous exposure to a workshop environment and/or parts division. - A mechanical mindset, to see how 'things' go together - Familiarity with the agricultural service sector would be an advantage, but not necessary. - Very good computer skills (data entry & word processing) - Excellent planning & organizational skills. - Strong team player who can liaise positively & proactively with all departments. - A great sense of humor McQuinn Pumps is an established Water Pump and Water Treatment - Product and Service supplier in Whangarei and the wider Northland area.
