Senior Voice / Network Engineer (2IC to Architect)Full timeYou're a highly skilled, adaptable senior engineer who has 5+ years experience working on the design, build and support of complex voice and data networks, and core systems architecture, for a New Zealand ISP/MSP. You're experienced working with virtualised networks and can autonomously configure and implement advanced networking solutions.While your primary skills showcase that of a senior technical lead, you're further complemented by your dynamic ability to pivot workloads between day-to-day customer support escalations, building bespoke customer product solutions and supporting core network infrastructure.You're now looking for a new opportunity in a senior position that will expand your career potential and role responsibilities to enable you to contribute your own flare to the evolving product set of a bespoke tech company.About usWe're a boutique business telco that does things differently. We're the largest direct sales channel for the 3CX phone system in New Zealand.Qualifications & experienceCore network and server virtualisation design and management.Tier 2-3 network architecture design and troubleshooting.Exposure to Ansible or similar automation stacks.Exposure to Python programming or bash scripting.Previous or current CCVP/CCNA (or equivalent/higher) networking qualifications.Tasks & responsibilitiesCore network infrastructure design and management, resilience, DR, SIT and UAT.Provisioning and build of core network, automation and monitoring systems.Tier 2-3 end-user support, diagnosing and troubleshooting business customer networks and applications.Scoping and designing new voice and data product solutions for business customers.Senior Engineering Role with work from home flexibility.Be part of a boutique business telco experiencing exponential growth.Work with a corporate technology partner owned by a fortune 500 parent.
