Details of the offer

Do you have a passion for great user experiences? Are you excited about working on an emerging product? Would you like to work with a fun team with a focus on being world-class? We are looking for a senior product designer to increase our momentum. With a focus on a new product, we are at a pivotal point in our Product-Led journey and have some lofty goals that we want to achieve! Who is RedSeed? We've been creating eLearning solutions for some of Australasia's largest businesses for over 15 years. With a new product about to launch and a wider international focus, we are looking to strengthen our product-led approach with a specialist role. On a normal day at RedSeed, you'll get to: Talk to users to gather insights on needs, behaviour and pain points. Work on design elements like visual, interaction and design systems. Work across stakeholders to communicate and collaborate for optimal product evolution. You'll want to work with us because: We're a close-knit team with a casual dress code that has lots of fun. We are passionate and high-energy. We offer a flexible, family-friendly work environment. You'll be helping make a difference to individuals and organisations. We're based in the central city. Oh, and there's free coffee (always!). We'll need you to: Have an in-depth understanding of user-centred design, design thinking, and best practices. Have advanced knowledge of UX/UI design principles, user research, and interaction design. Be proficient in design tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, or similar. Have a minimum of 5 years in UX/UI design with proven experience leading design projects and teams. Have a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, HCI, or a related field required; a Master's degree or certifications (e.g., UX Certification) preferred. Have a portfolio showcasing diverse design projects, demonstrating design thinking, problem-solving, and a user-centred approach. It would help if you: Prior experience in a senior or leadership design role is preferred. Familiarity with front-end development technologies is a plus. If you only meet some of the requirements for this role, that's okay! We value a diverse range of backgrounds and ideas and believe this is fundamental for our future success. So, if you have the curiosity to learn, we'd love to hear from you. We pride ourselves on creating an inclusive workplace that provides equal opportunities to all persons regardless of their age, cultural background, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, disability, or anything else. Interested in talking further? We'd love to hear from you. Your application will include the following questions: Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in New Zealand? How many years' experience do you have as a product designer? How many years of graphic design experience do you have? How many years of front end development experience do you have? How many years' experience do you have working in an agile environment? How much notice are you required to give your current employer? #J-18808-Ljbffr
