A new niche role to support our pharmacy service to align with required legislative and best practice standards, including, but not limited to, cold chain practise.
Key responsibilities of the role:
Key role in supporting good cold chain practice across the organisation.
Promoting and supporting compliance to best practice medicine related standards.
Assisting with medication safety initiatives.

Providing pharmacy services to Waikato hospital, rural hospitals and tertiary advisory and support services to the Te Manawa Taki region, the Pharmacy Service is key to the effective operation of the health service. From pharmaceutical supply, medicines safety and clinical services to provision of an outpatient pharmacy, comprehensive clinical trials service and a compounding suite, the pharmacy does it all.

Skills and experience you will need to be considered for the role:
Experience in hospital pharmacy desirable
New Zealand Certificate in Pharmacy (Technician), Level 5
Good understanding of NZ health system, legislation and medication safety standards
Enthusiasm + organised approach
