This role is part of a small team of a Network Architect, DevOps Lead, Engineers, Voice Engineer, and Junior Network Engineer and has the opportunity to be exposed to a range of projects within data centres, networks, and infrastructure. This role reports to the Head of DevOps.Key Responsibilities:Design, implement, and manage core network infrastructureMonitor networks and troubleshoot escalated issuesWork on migration and maintenance of a new data centreDesign and build Ad Hoc solutions for customersCollaborate with the DevOps team to plan and execute network upgrades and expansion projectsShare shifts on the On-Call roster (approximately on a 5 week cycle)Skills and Experience:4+ years experience working as a Network EngineerExperience within a telecommunication company/ISPExpert knowledge of network protocols, TCP/IP, routing, and switchingUnderstanding of DevOps teams and their practicesExperience working with Juniper/Cisco/Mikrotik is preferredExperience with Linux and network troubleshooting on a Linux based hostKnowledge on RADIUS Accounting systems would be a bonus!Benefits:Work from Home 2/3 days a weekDiscounted Mobile plans + discounted gym membershipsParental Leave + Medical InsuranceKiwisaver ContributionsCareer growth opportunitiesHow to Apply:If you're passionate about Network Engineering, we'd love to hear from you!
