Let's talk about the role and responsibilities
Develop test strategies and plans for API and mobile testing, considering project requirements and timelines.
Ensure that APIs and mobile applications work effectively across different devices, platforms, and browsers.
Assess the security of APIs and mobile apps, identifying vulnerabilities and suggesting security improvements.
Maintain detailed records of test results, issues, and test plans, and ensure that documentation is up to date.
Let's talk about your capability and experience
Proven working experience with a variety of tools that support test automation using Java.
API/Microservices Testing experience (Rest Assured, Postman).
Minimum 5 years software testing experience with at least 3 years in Test Automation.
Proven working experience with XCUITest, Espresso, Jenkins, Fastlane.
Proficiency in coding with at least one programming language e.g. Swift, Kotlin, and Java.
Experience using source control tools Git and Bitbucket.
Thorough knowledge of the principles of functional and non-functional testing (especially Exploratory testing).
Working knowledge in DevOps practices - continuous integration & delivery.
An agile and open mind-set able to consider new ideas and approaches to complex situations.
