Senior Mechanical Engineer - FEA and Asset IntegrityAbout Us:Re-Generate is a class-leading engineering consultancy offering specialist services to a diverse range of blue-chip customers across Australasia. With a team of 40 professionals, we specialize in consulting, analysis, design, supply and contracting services. Whilst we have core operations within the hydro-generation sector, we also extend our expertise to a wide range of other industries including geothermal & wind generation, 3 waters, oil & gas, and process.Role Overview:We are experiencing significant and sustained growth and are currently seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Fracture Mechanics experience, proven customer interfacing capabilities and the potential to develop into a Team Leadership position. We are willing to consider remote working arrangements for candidates that can demonstrate a high degree of relevant experience.Requirements:Experience in team management, technical leadership, and account managementBachelor's degree in mechanical engineering5-7+ years of experience in Advanced FEA within a relevant industryProficiency with Ansys is preferred; experience with SolidWorks modelling is desirableExpertise in Fracture Mechanics including stress analysis, crack analysis, fatigue studies, and Fitness for Service (FFS) assessmentsFamiliarity with Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), particularly in Fluent is desirableAbility to manage and direct NDT service providersKey Attributes:The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong analytical and practical skills, who thrives in a collaborative team environment.
