Our ClientFounded in 2019, our client is a challenger brand within the investing and financial services space focused on providing innovative investment solutions and wealth management services. Doing things differently, their education-led approach takes the scaries away from investing and their passion for delivering great results, insights and support to their customers – with the ultimate goal being to enhance their clients' financial well-being! Set for big growth in 2025 with the launch of new products, we're excited to be recruiting this critical leadership hire into their Marketing function!The RoleYou'll lead a team of three direct reports with responsibility over the management of external contractors and agencies who support copy writing, digital marketing and content editing.Reporting into one of the three co-founders who also acts as the Head of Marketing and Customer, you'll have ownership over the marketing and communication function, working and collaborating closely with the Head of Digital and Customer Success teams.Content and education are a huge part of this brand's marketing strategy – you'll be able to articulately de-jargon copywriting and collaborate with your SME (subject matter experts) internally and externally to ensure our content is top notch.Developing and growing your existing team's capability is a key priority for this role – you'll enjoy nurturing your team and finding opportunities for them to stretch their skillset and lead projects.You'll continuously be seeking to find opportunities to drive revenue whether that's through effective marketing campaigns for reducing churn, increasing investment value and cross selling across products.Media buying is a large part of this role, you'll build strong relationships with our existing suppliers and always be seeking to drive efficiency in this space.Work closely with agencies to brief in marketing campaigns, with a keen eye on ensuring we're compliant with financial services regulations.You'll have budget management responsibility, the marketing budget has been set for FY 2025/26 already but you'll have the ongoing management of it with your team.You're involved with the monthly board reporting process and when it's Marketing's turn, you're comfortable reporting in the Board and providing marketing-based updates alongside the Head of Marketing and Customer – this can be a growth area for you but the confidence and appetite for it is important if you've not done it before.We're launching new products in 2025! Which is going to be a really exciting, if not slightly chaotic time for the business – your ability to prioritise, keep a cool head and remain calm under pressure while working in the grey is going to be critical for the year ahead and beyond!About YouYou've got 5+ years within a Senior Marketing role, ideally with leadership responsibilities most recently.You'll have an interest in financial services, investing and personal wealth management – better yet, you've worked in the industry and have a baseline understanding of the compliance/regulations when it comes to marketing.Working in the grey, wearing many hats and adaptability are key skills in your toolkit – this environment very much has a scale-up vibe and big plans for 2025, so your ambitions and work ethic will match it! If you're someone who craves process, structure and procedure – this probably isn't the best environment for you.
