The campus has sustained growth in local talent of faculty, staff, students, and alumni, and serves as the Asia-Pacific regional hub developing and expanding our network of academic and corporate partnerships in and around the region.The Senior/Manager for Business Development is responsible for the successful recruitment of students for executive masters programs. The incumbent works in collaboration with the Academic Director to develop and implement strategies and activities to achieve application volume, diversity and quality of the candidates.The successful candidate will report to the Head of the Post Experience Programs.Responsibilities:Recruit quality applicants for the Executive MBA programWork closely with the Academic Director to nurture leads and the pipelineRepresent programs at events such as education fairs, information sessions and coffee chatsConsult with prospects on programme suitabilityMaintain CRM reports on prospects and current students2. MarketingDesign B2C product marketing strategies; conduct lead generation and nurturing activities to convert leadsWork with agencies for media campaigns, photoshoots and video productionsConduct market studies, analytics and benchmarking3. AdmissionsOversee application and admission processesManage scholarship budget and processesEnsure a high level of service quality for applicantsThis is a non-exhaustive list of responsibilities and can evolve with time or as assigned by the Reporting Line Manager.Position Requirements:Strong communication and presentation skillsMature disposition and able to hold conversations across different levels of seniority and international environmentsDemonstrated experience with media strategy and digital marketing (SEM, content, social media)Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation software (e.g. Salesforce, Marketo)Possess an analytical perspective; able to propose solutions and suggest process improvementsPossess a growth mindset and has the agility to react positively to changesOverall digital literacy, including Google Workspace, Microsoft Office and general cloud softwareGood to haves:Experience with design (Photoshop / Canva), copywritingB2B experience: to build networks with alumni, local business communities, Chambers of Commerce, professional associationsQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related fields7 years of relevant experience, preferably in a higher education settingContacts:Internal Stakeholders - Program Directors; Faculty in ESSEC APAC; counterparts in other departments in ESSEC APAC; counterparts in France and Morocco campusesExternal Stakeholders - Vendors and clients; external organisations and institutions locally and overseas, relevant government agencies and authorities and External facultyWorking Environment and Pace:The incumbent needs to be able to work independently in a dynamic work environment. He/She is also expected to work well with different stakeholders and across cultures.
