This incorporates a realignment of our Centre for Learning and Teaching and will position AUT at the fore of contemporary professional learning practices for academic staff. As a central university service, we cover a broad range of educational practice, which includes innovative pedagogy, curriculum development, assessment, digital learning and scholarship/pedagogical research.In this role, you will be responsible for contributing to teaching and learning quality and innovation, supporting faculties to design, develop and deliver transformative learning. This includes;using innovative pedagogical theory and practice and emerging technologies in the design and delivery of student learning experiences, in a range of learning environments - face to face, blended, flipped, mobile and onlineworking in close partnership with other members of altLAB to strengthen the quality of the learning experiencebuilding staff capability in the appropriate use of digital technologies and promote innovative pedagogical and assessment approaches to enhance teaching and curriculum design practicesdesigning sustainable, high quality learning and assessment resources and activities incorporating evidence-based design principlesYou will have experience in planning, designing and developing learning activities and educational approaches and implementing learning design methodologies which incorporate evidence-based pedagogy. You will have practical knowledge in the field of higher education, including curriculum architecture, pedagogy and assessment and the ability to manage competing deadlines and multiple tasks as this is a fast-paced role!
