You will be the sole support person for on-site IT Infrastructure (clients, servers and network) for the staff and Launch Engineers/ Technicians at our Warkworth Composites Complex (WCC). You will also be required to provide Launch Operation support during Launch periods.When not directly supporting the site, you will be required to help to manage the IT Service Desk queue, carrying out the day-to-day functions required to provide the efficient delivery of IT services to Rocket Lab. You will also be first point of contact for any onboarding of new hires to ensure they are setup and productive from day one. Effective communication and world class support is vital to the success of this role.The Senior IT Support Specialist provides instruction, guidance, technical support and documentation to the different teams at Rocket Lab to deliver and support IT systems through efficient management of the IT Service Desk. This is carried out via on site desktop support, phone, IM, and email.
