About the roleWe have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Insight & Measurement Specialist that takes on the creation of strategic, insight-led, 360 media plans that complement the client's brand objectives and the problems to solve for. Reporting to the Insight & Measurement Manager you are also responsible for managing their team and are a key player in managing the relationship with the client. There is a genuine need for leadership in this role to keep the team motivated and the client engaged.Responsibilities include:Lead a team of Insights professionals.Create strategic, insight-led media plans.Develop solutions to meet brand objectives.Be a strategic advisor, leveraging data-driven insights to guide and influence client service teams and stakeholders.Co-create powerful recommendations, translating data into actionable insights that drive media strategy.Master the pulse of performance, staying ahead of trends and applying industry best practices to shape decisions.Showcase successes and learnings through the creation of compelling case studies that highlight impact and innovation.Collaborate closely with Media Planners, co-designing insights-led media plans that elevate client campaigns.Lead robust post-campaign analysis, measuring success and refining future recommendations for even greater impact.Cultivate strong, lasting relationships across both internal teams and external partners to drive collaborative success.Empower teams with training on insights tools, ensuring the delivery of best-in-class media recommendations across channels.Be a category insights powerhouse, deeply understanding FMCG data and performance trends to fuel strategic decisions.Drive data-led evaluations, optimizing future media strategies and ensuring continuous growth.Be an engaging storyteller, transforming complex data into compelling narratives that clearly communicate solutions or opportunities.You'll be a qualified media or insights professional with 5+ years of prior media and/or insights experience, who thrives in a fast-moving team environment and excels at managing multiple projects and priorities across various stakeholders. Ideally, you will have a strong understanding of the FMCG industry, combined with hands-on experience using insight tools for both planning and reporting. You will be adept at creating actionable insights and translating complex data into clear, compelling narratives for both internal and external audiences.This is a newly created role within a dynamic team, so we're looking for someone who is a strong collaborator, with a proven ability to coordinate across departments to drive results. You'll be self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working under pressure while meeting tight deadlines. With excellent time management and organizational skills, you'll be able to juggle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a keen eye for detail. A passion for media, coupled with your ability to build strategic recommendations, will set you up for success in this position.About UsFoodstuffs Precision Media (an intrinsic part of Foodstuffs NZ – Marketing & Media) was launched to the NZ FMCG industry in October 2022. It has been built to deliver a WIN WIN WIN outcome for customers, suppliers and Foodstuffs by delivering a superior customer experience, incremental sales for FMCG suppliers at above average ROAS and deliver to Foodstuffs category strategies. You'll be working with our partner, dunnhumby, to create insight-led, 360 media plans across our client portfolio.
