Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Full Time Application Closes 19 Apr 2024 Manawatu - Palmerston North Computer Hardware Engineer In this role, you will provide leadership and guidance in the technical implementation and architecture of our IT infrastructure systems. You will have the opportunity to design, develop, manage, and support the core IT infrastructure of UCOL, as well as provide specialist expertise and Level 3 support to Digital team members and customers. You will work closely with our Digital team to oversee and improve the underlying technology upon which UCOL's business systems and processes rely. With a focus on Microsoft enterprise systems including Exchange, Active Directory, Office365, Azure and Entra ID in a hybrid environment, your day-to-day contributions will play a crucial role in enabling our staff to deliver outstanding education and services. This is a prime time to bring your expertise to an environment where it can lead to real change, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency in operations. You will bring to the role a relevant tertiary level IT degree, 5+ years' experience managing infrastructure systems within a large organisation and significant experience in the design and implementation of complex enterprise infrastructure architectures.
