This is an exciting opportunity to help further build our national and global modelling discipline team. Stantec globally is known for our best practice in drainage modelling, and our New Zealand team unites this global best practice with local knowledge, to deliver high quality modelling and network planning projects for our clients here and across the world.Working closely with our Practice Leader, your key responsibilities will include the following:Technical oversight of modelling projects which will include:Model Build, Validation, Calibration and wastewater networksSystem Performance and supporting our civils design teamsModel Enhancement and Strategic catchment planningOption Assessments including nature-based approaches and Solution ModellingMentorship and training of modelling staffProviding technical input and support to the modelling team across Stantec.Acting as key technical liaison with clients on modelling projectsEnsuring that QAQC procedures are followedRegular liaison with Stantec staff in other offices to share knowledge and best practiceYou will be fluent with InfoWorks ICM (and have a working knowledge of the other modelling packages). You will have the ability to lead modelling projects from a technical standpoint and work closely with the Project Manager to deliver to our clients.
