About the role We are looking for a passionate and driven HR Business Partner to join our team based in Blenheim or Auckland in a permanent full time opportunity.
As a member of the larger HR team, you will partner with the business in the development and delivery of people initiatives and organisational change across your portfolios.
This is a pivotal role in the business; you will need to build strong relationships and enable a collaborative, empowering culture of highly engaged employees, agile leaders, and diverse and inclusive teams across all functions of the business.
As the stand-alone HR contact in New Zealand, you will also need to have a good understanding of the Employment Relations Act.
Specifically you will: Build strong relationships with leaders and employees.
Advise and coach leaders to drive employee engagement throughout the employee life cycle.
Work with leaders to plan and manage resources to meet business demand forecasts and support with attraction & retention of employees.
Lead projects which drive continuous improvement and efficiencies in HR related processes.
Promote cross collaboration and new ways of working across the business.
About you To be successful in this role, you will work collaboratively in a team environment to develop positive and lasting professional relationships across a broad range of stakeholders by working to understand business drivers impacting their operations.
You will enjoy working in an autonomous environment with tight deadlines and competing or changing priorities.
The skills and experience best suited to this role: Experience in partnering with all levels of leaders, lifting their HR capability and supporting their operational business plans through best practice advice and guidance.
Sound knowledge of Employee Relations including case management, investigations, and interpretation of legislation and negotiation of Collective Agreements.
Tertiary studies in Business, Human Resources, Psychology, Law, or similar with previous industry experience.
