This is a fantastic role for a seasoned HSW professional who has a focus on making a difference. We're looking for a pragmatic, engaging, and influential person, who leads by example and provides unwavering support to our awesome business partnering team. You'll be technically knowledgeable, with a passion for wellbeing and people.Reporting to the Group Health, Safety and Wellbeing Manager, and working closely with our leaders and frontline team members, you'll guide our journey - foreseeing potholes and celebrating success along the way.Specifically, your responsibilities will include the following:Relationships and engagement - Engage with leadership at all levels across our business to build trusted and enduring relationships. You'll work to grow and enhance awareness of our HSW programme, while gaining a clear understanding of business needsLeadership - Our business partners are integral to the ongoing growth and success of our program. We want someone who will inspire and care for them - providing leadership, coaching, and support. You'll ensure each of them has opportunities to learn, develop and grow. You will monitor their progress and wellbeing, set them up to succeed, and celebrate when they doTechnical expertise - You'll understand the HSW Act and other relevant legislation, providing accurate and pragmatic advice. You'll build the knowledge of the team and business, so that they can grow their understandingProject management - You'll need to be highly organised and able to manage projects - managing tasks, identifying milestones, anticipating roadblocks, and strategizing to overcome them. You'll ensure our work is delivered in full, on time, and safelyInspiring improvement - Sure, we do routine checks in our programme, but we're not looking for a box-ticker or a compliance officer. Our people value authentic relationships, and genuine engagement where they can be involved in making tangible improvements.
