Salary midpoint of $77,872, actual salary dependent on your experience.

At Manatu Hauora Ministry of Health we are the kaitiaki of the health system, providing leadership and driving strategy and performance. We regulate the health sector and are the primary source of advice on health matters. The Government and Executive Services Directorate has a strong focus on integrity, reputation and trust.

We lead and support organisational excellence by providing timely, high-quality advice, communications, legal and governance support to Manatu Hauora (Ministry of Health) and to the Ministers and Associate Ministers of Health as our primary customers.

What you'll do
You'll be providing comprehensive support to the Director Deputy-General (DDG) of the Government & Executive Services Directorate, ensuring that they are supported in their day-to-day activities and that, above all, their diary is managed effectively. You'll do this by being supremely organised yourself, with an eye for detail, and a great understanding of your customer's needs.

This role is crucial to the efficient running of the directorate. You will be working both independently (directly to the DDG) and as part of a friendly and collaborative team (the DDG's office) through a diverse range of tasks requiring a high degree of confidentiality, initiative, tact, accuracy, and independent judgement.

Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills

Advanced Microsoft 365 skills
