Our Development Planning team provides and manages specialist technical transport advice into the review of development proposals that shape land use change and growth in Auckland and allow access to the activities which people undertake to meet broader quality of life objectives.In this role, you will be tasked with providing a comprehensive technical transport specialist response on complex resource consent applications, while collaboratively working with multi-disciplinary teams across Auckland Transport, Auckland Council and stakeholders.Na tau rourou | What will you bring?We are looking for someone who has:A relevant degree in Transport Planning, Engineering, Planning or similar discipline.A high level of technical experience and 5+ years preparing and reviewing transport assessments and Integrated Transport Assessments is desirable.Demonstrated experience in providing feedback and coaching and/or quality assurance.Demonstrated experience of problem solving, negotiation and decision-making skills.Excellent communication and relationship building skills.Experience in working across multiple disciplines, understanding multiple professional points of view and negotiating an agreed way forward.At AT, we embrace inclusion and fully support building a diverse workplace where people come first and we feel safe, respected, valued and supported, inclusive of our differences.
