Join our dynamic team as a Senior Data Engineer where you'll effectively contribute to streamlining our data platform landscape.A bit about the Role:Reporting to the Data Platform Engineering Team Leader, our Senior Data Engineer will deliver high-end, robust technical expertise in support of the function. You'll take charge of the technical delivery and maintenance of our data platform, encompassing build, operations, and continuous optimisation. This role is pivotal, demanding a high level of proficiency in modern data platform technologies. Lead through technical expertise, support teamwork, and actively contribute to the design and implementation of data platform enhancements.A bit about You:To be successful in the role, you'll bring with you a minimum of 7 years experience in data platform engineering, demonstrating expertise in constructing and enhancing data pipelines incorporating auditing mechanisms. You'll hold advanced skills in data modelling, processing, integration, unstructured data handling, and have proficiency in SQL with a focus on the Kimball methodology and established design patterns. Exhibit a track record of utilising source controls like GitHub or Azure Repos.Leverage your ability to transform innovative ideas into tangible business opportunities and foster strong relationships with key business stakeholders using your excellent verbal and written communication skills!What's in it for you:You'll work with contemporary data platform technology to help the organisation supercharge its data-technology landscape and use of its data assets.
