We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Clinical Coder to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in accurately coding medical records using ICD-10-AM, ACHI, and ACS classifications. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with a strong background in clinical coding to contribute to the efficiency and accuracy of our health information management.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately code clinical data using ICD-10-AM, ACHI, and ACS classifications.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to clarify diagnoses and procedures.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding standards and guidelines.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of coding processes and practices.
Qualifications:
HIMAA (Health Information Management Association of Australia) coding qualification is highly desirable.
Proficiency in ICD-10-AM, ACHI, and ACS coding.
Previous experience in a clinical coding role within a large healthcare setting.
Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and data security.
