Paddock Cafe Cambridge is looking for an experienced and qualified Senior Chef to organize the kitchen's activities. You will create and inspect dishes before they go to guests' tables, ensuring high quality and satisfaction.
Qualifications & Experience: Certificate in cookery One year experience in this role is essential A great positive attitude Self-motivated and driven High attention to detail and dedication to maintaining standards Extensive knowledge of OHS/HACCP Outstanding knowledge in a broad range of culinary styles focusing on quality Understanding of food costs and how to utilize produce to obtain the best results Sound knowledge of the financial aspects of running a kitchen Tasks & Responsibilities: Identify, analyze, and resolve problems that might arise in the line of duty Organize large functions and utilize the team to the best of their abilities Lead a passionate and dedicated team to deliver the best customer experience Take charge of our restaurant as if it were your own Assist in achieving financial targets set for expenditure including labor costs and food costs Demonstrate sound financial acumen Mentor and grow the next generation of chefs Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $29.00 – $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
