About the Role (your why)
The Senior Developer is responsible for analysing, designing, programming, debugging, and modifying software enhancements and/or new products used in local, networked, cloud-based, or Internet-related computer programs. This role involves developing and maintaining applications software.
What you'll do
As a Senior Developer, you will work with the relevant team members to ensure that all solutions are developed/coded and configured (including reporting) to meet the intended business requirements, adhering to standard processes and procedures to provide certainty of outcome for the business. We are an agile company and are keen to respond to customer, technology, and internal stakeholders' changing requirements, which may mean evolving in our roles to meet those needs.
What you'll bring
Required experience:
5+ years' Development experience
Strong experience with AWS
Advanced SQL and Python skills in manipulating JSON
Experience with JSON ETL manipulation of large objects
Familiarity with Snowflake platform and interfaces
Nice to have:
7+ years in Software Development, with at least 3 years in a large IT site
Experience utilising AWS tools
Experience utilising Aurora Databases, Airflow, Astronomer, Pipelines
Prior Banking experience is preferable
