Senior Accounting Manager

Great leadership role for someone with a strong background in banking
Very large foreign based bank with a strong presence in New Zealand
This is a great role for a CA/CPA qualified Finance Manager with strong experience in banking. The successful candidate will need to have strong experience with General Disclosure Statements (GDS), financial reporting the staff management. This key role will be responsible for all financial, regulatory and statutory reporting for the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing the full accounting function and leading the accounting team
Delivering all financial, regulatory and statutory reporting for the organisation
Analysing any month end variances
Preparation of all reporting to the CFO
Working closely with the Treasury and Risk teams

Key Requirements:
CA/CPA Qualification essential
Banking experience is a must
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a leadership role
Strong hands on knowledge of producing General Disclosure Statements (GDS) for a bank
Strong Excel skills
The ability to speak Mandarin would be an advantage
Strong knowledge of treasury and tax
