New space, growing client base. We're on the lookout for an experienced accountant to support Directors and our wider accounting team in either a full or part-time role.
The nature of our work means the role has a strong compliance base and will require focused attention on the preparation of complex financial statements across our diverse client base. However, there's plenty of opportunity to work on monthly management reports, budgeting and forecasting, and one-off client projects, while providing leadership and support to early-stage career colleagues developing their technical knowledge and skills.
Ongoing career progression will be supported by the firm, with work tasked to challenge and build your skills and support your professional aspirations. Continuing professional development is provided at all levels.

About You
As a seasoned compliance accountant, you're keen to take on a role with more variety and advisory focus. You enjoy sharing your knowledge and are on the lookout for increased opportunities to support the development of colleagues, firm operations and client services.
You'll bring experience managing multiple responsibilities and prioritising and delivering work to meet deadlines. You have a track record of providing support to clients and taking the initiative to contribute and add value to a high-performing team.
You have worked for a minimum of 4 years in public practice and have permanent work rights in New Zealand. Ideally, you are CA (or equivalent) qualified.
