Senior Accountant DCS
Have a key role in the implementation of the Depositor Compensation Scheme (DCS).
Te turanga - The role
As the Senior Accountant Depositor Compensation Scheme ('DCS'), you will partner alongside the Finance Directorate and Project Teams to lead accounting requirements to ensure that the financial outputs of the DCS are met, especially in the compilation and reporting of financial and associated fund performance information, supporting a pay-out event and levy calculation and collection. This includes the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual internal and external reporting, as well as external forecasting exercises for the Crown.
O pukenga - About you
To be successful in this role, you'll have:
A Chartered Accountant qualification, with at least 5+ years' experience post full membership.
Strong knowledge of NZ IFRS / PBE IPSAS accounting principles.
Proven ability to solve problems using analytical skills and critical thinking as required for areas of challenge and opportunity.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to speak 'non-finance' to stakeholders.
Collaborative mindset and ability to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders and teams.
Experience with TechnologyOne Finance System (Ci or Ci Anywhere) would be an advantage.

The anticipated appointment range for this role is $127,826.88 to $138,479.12 (actual salary will be dependent on your skills and experience).
