Specialist SEND Teaching Assistants Needed in Telford Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)? Position: Specialist SEND Teaching Assistant Location: Telford Type: Full-Time / Part-Time Key Responsibilities: Support students with SEND in their academic, social, and emotional development. Assist the class teacher in creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment. Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and adapt learning materials to meet students' needs. Provide one-on-one or small group support as required. Promote positive behavior and support students in managing their emotions and behavior. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure comprehensive support for students. Requirements: Previous experience working with children or young adults with SEND. A patient, empathetic, and resilient nature. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Relevant qualifications or training in SEND education is desirable.
