Ruapotaka School is in the heart of Panmure, Pt England and Glen Innes with the Mighty Maungarei Mountain overlooking our school.
We are a multicultural school with 13 different ethnicities catering for students from Y1–8. Pasifika is our predominant ethnicity. We are a PB4L school and are commencing the MITEY approach in 2025.
Due to restructuring, we are looking for a dedicated, passionate person who has skills in working with neurodiverse students, their families, outside agencies, and their teachers.
The special needs coordinator will be employed for 2 full days. They will work alongside all our outside agencies, teachers, and the school's leadership team and will be well supported. This role may increase to extra days.
The leadership release role is for our teaching deputy principal and will also be employed for 2 full days. This role may also increase to extra days.
This role can be for one person for all 4 days or 2 people for 2 full days with the option to increase if necessary.
