SEN Teaching Assistant Roles in Telford – Join Our Team! Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? We are currently seeking dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to work in schools across Telford. Job Role: SEN Teaching Assistant (TA) Location: Telford, Shropshire Pay Rate: Up to £12.82 per hour (DOE) Hours: 8:45am – 3:15pm Flexible Work Opportunities: Full-time, part-time, and day-to-day positions available What Will You Be Doing? Supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs (SEN), including ASD, ADHD, and other learning difficulties Assisting with daily classroom activities and ensuring a positive learning environment Encouraging and supporting students to engage with their learning, both academically and socially Providing tailored support based on each pupil's individual learning needs Working closely with teachers and other staff to monitor progress and implement strategies Promoting positive behaviour management techniques What We're Looking For: A passion for working with children with SEN Relevant experience in a similar role (working with SEN children is desirable) Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with pupils Patience, empathy, and adaptability A Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 1, 2, or 3) is desirable but not essential The right to work in the UK An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one) Why Work with Excell Supply?
