Sen Teaching Assistant

SENTA Are you an experienced SEN Teaching assistant? Are you passionate about helping those who require extra support?

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a SENTA in the Newmarket area to offer support on a 1:1 basis to a pupil in KS2. The pupil in question shows levels of GDD, therefore prior experience with this area of SEN would be hugely beneficial to the candidate.

You would be supporting the pupil throughout the school day, this would include but may not be limited to- monitoring the progress and development of the pupil and reporting it to the Class teacher, aiding the pupil with the work set out by the teacher, offering behavioural support and supporting the pupil to create strong relationships with his teachers and peers

The ideal candidate:

- Experienced teaching assistant
- Experience working with pupils on a 1:1 basis
- Experience working with SEN (Inside or outside of an educational setting)
- Safeguarding training
- Uk address and right to work
- Enhanced Childs DBS on the update service
- Flexibility in terms of transport
