Selwyn Veterinary Centre - Companion Animal Veterinarian - ChristchurchOrganisation/clinic: Selwyn Veterinary CentrePosition type: Companion Animal VeterinarianWe are looking for a kind, empathetic veterinarian with a good sense of humour to join our team.
We are a small private practice, currently with seven veterinarians and nine veterinary nurses treating a range of small animals.
We will be moving into our new large purpose-built premises at the end of November 2024 and thus expanding our team in 2025.
We are looking for a permanent part/full-time (25 to 40 hours) veterinarian to add to our team; we are flexible with hours and recent graduates are welcome to apply.
We have a very friendly, caring and supportive team and we offer all the usual staff benefits of NZVA, Vet Council registration, CPD, and Southern Cross Health Insurance.
We emphasise work-life balance and wellbeing, preferring everyone gets at least one weekday off. The clinic is open half day Saturdays and closed Sundays, with Saturdays shared 1:5. We are part of the Christchurch Afterhours Clinic, so afterhours are next to none.
