Heartland is looking for a motivated techie to join our growing IT team which is on the precipice of delivering a number of new technologies over a multiyear roadmap, making a real contribution to the wider business and its digital strategy.
You’ll be the threat and forensic subject matter expert to ensure the security of Heartland Bank’s Network. As the threat and forensic SME you’ll:
Conduct security risk assessments of network security devices and lead incident responses.
Monitor and respond to network security control related incidents
Develop business continuity scenarios for security specific incidents
Manage multiple investigation requests through the entire lifecycle of initiation, data collection, analysis, and data production
Facilitate audit and vulnerability analysis of corporate networks, advise and implement appropriate mitigations
Liaise with vendors and technical teams to develop incident remediation plans

You’re passionate about systems security and keen to make your mark.
You’re a pro who:
Understands "attacker" methodologies and tactics.
Is familiar with Advance Persistent Threat groups and Hacker activity.
Has experience analysing phishing attacks
Knows 3rd/4th gen defence & sandboxing toolsets
Is able to read network logs and analyse network packet capture data
Possesses thorough knowledge on PKI, IPS/IDS, DDOS, DLP, NAC, SIEM, Penetration & VA Testing.
Has excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Can influence and lead security directions
Is knowledgeable in web filtering, malware, anti-spam, firewall policies, proxy solutions & intuitive endpoint protection.
