We are looking to appoint a dedicated individual to lead our Basketball Club and build a sustainable basketball performance program across the entire College. The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery and oversight of basketball programs within our Junior (Years 1-6), Middle (Years 7-10), and Senior (Years 11-13) Schools. The successful applicant will report to the Director of Co-Curricular Activities and the Basketball Club, overseeing the administration and operations of the Club as a whole. This part-time role offers the flexibility to increase hours as the program expands. We are committed to supporting players at all levels, from those participating socially to athletes aspiring for overseas college opportunities or high-performance pathways. You must be eligible to work in New Zealand to apply for this position. The ideal candidate will inspire and mentor students, driving both their athletic development and personal growth, while contributing to the future success of basketball at Scots College. In addition to working with student athletes, the successful applicant will lead the recruitment and development of coaches within the program. They will be responsible for upskilling coaches to ensure consistency in the Scots College basketball brand and approach across all levels, from Junior through to Senior School. This role will be pivotal in building a cohesive coaching team that aligns with the program's values and long-term goals.
